2010 PRCUA Junior Bowling Tournament
The 2010 PRCUA Junior
Bowling Tournament was held on Saturday, June 19, at Stardust Lanes, in
Addison, IL. Around 70 children participated in this event; they were
cheered by proud parents, grandparents, friends as well as PRCUA National
Directors – Dist. #7 - Lillian Stempinski, Dist. #9 – Elizabeth Grabowski,
PRCUA Resident Vice President – Anna Sokolowski, her secretary Mary Jane
Robles, PRCUA IT Assistant – Madia Robles and past PRCUA secretary to the
President – Mary Gorny.
When the tournament was completed and the results
were being tabulated, everyone present was served refreshments of pizza and
soda. Afterwards, the winners were announced. Each winner received a trophy
and all the bowlers were awarded a participation trophy. Special “thank you”
to the coordinators of this event Lillian, Ralph and Joe Stempinski and my
secretary Mary Jane Robles.
I should not forget the Stardust Lanes staff for
their assistance. Also, “Thank you” to Mary Gorny and Iwona Piacenti for
helping with serving the refreshments. Hope to see you next year!
