Director Vacancy
Declared in District 5 (Ohio and West Virginia)
The
Executive Officers and Board of Directors of the Polish Roman Catholic Union
of America have formally declared, at their quarterly Board Meeting held on
Saturday, September 6, 2008 in Cleveland, Ohio, that a vacancy exists in the
PRCUA for the office of an additional National Director in District #5. This
addition will bring the total number of
Directors on the PRCUA Board to fifteen.
The
vacancy came about as a result of changes passed at the National Convention
in 2006 (Chapter III, Article 12, #7) to have two directors represent the
members of District #5, due to its large number of members.
The
Constitution and By-Laws of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America has
finally been approved by all of the State Insurance Departments wherein the
PRCUA is licensed, which has prompted the election of the additional
director at this time.
Members
are hereby officially informed that applications to fill the office of
National Director of District #5 are now being accepted. An applicant must
be an active member of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America in good
standing for at least five (5) years and must reside in District #5 which
encompasses all of Ohio and West Virginia.
This
vacancy shall be acted upon at the next quarterly meeting of the Board of
Directors, scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2008.
Completed
applications can be obtained from the office of the PRCUA
Secretary-Treasurer Joyce Szarowicz and must be received no later than
Monday, October 20, 2008, by registered mail or by certified mail or in
person.
