PRCUA Encourages Societies to
Promote Membership
The PRCUA has given away a
grand total of $67,480 to local Societies over recent years in an effort to
encourage Societies to promote PRCUA membership. Societies receive $10.00
for each deputy-generated application approved by the home office. In
addition to this, for every 5 deputy-generated applications approved, the
sponsoring Society qualifies to receive one entry in the Society Membership
Promotion Drawing, which is held once a year.
Fifteen cash prizes will be
awarded in the membership drive:

The next drawing will cover
applications received after December 20, 2004 until December 15, 2005. Only
adult and juvenile life insurance certificates qualify for this contest. A
Society can only win one of the top five prizes, but is eligible to win
prizes 6 through 15 any number of times.
The year 2004 Society
Membership Promotion Drawing was held on Monday, January 24, 2005 in the
PRCUA Board Room at the Home Office. There were 42 entries in the drawing
and a total of $7,600 was awarded to Societies who qualified to enter this
raffle.
