PRCUA’S 2004 Top Annuity Producers
Chicago, IL - The Executive
Officers of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America are pleased to
announce the names of its top annuity membership producers from January 1,
2004 to December 17, 2004, based upon number of annuity membership.
The
top annuity producer for 2004 is Sharon M. Quinn, FIC who sold 45
annuity memberships. She is employed by the PRCUA as the Office Manager of
the Philadelphia Satellite Office. Sharon resides in Philadelphia, PA, where
she is a member of Society #2015 and serves as the Financial Secretary of
Societies 2015 and 2001. She has been married to her husband, Ed for 32
years. They have a son, Sean, age 25 and a daughter, Kelly, age 28 who was
married to John Geary in October of this year. Sharon is a licensed
insurance agent in the state of Pennsylvania and has earned her FIC
designation. She is very active with local fraternal organizations, having
served as President of the Philadelphia Fraternals from 1999-2000 and she
currently holds the position of Secretary/Treasurer. She has served on the
Board of the New Jersey Fraternal Congress for the past 8 years, and just
completed a term as President. Congratulations, Sharon!
Mark
E. Whitsett is in 2nd place, having brought in 42 new annuity
memberships. Mark is enjoying his new home in Minnetrista, MN. He has been a
licensed insurance agent since 1992 with over 10 years of experience working
with Catholic fraternals. His expertise is providing assistance in estate
planning utilizing annuities, life insurance, and long term care products.
His son, Matthew, 23, recently moved from Central, IL to Phoenix, AZ to start
his own insurance agency. Mark also markets PRCUA products in several other
states.
James
J. Robaczewski is in 3rd place with 27 annuities. Jim has been employed
as a contractor at the PRCUA Home Office during 2004. A graduate of DePaul
U., he has joined the PRCUA in 1971 and belongs to Societies #15, #412 and
#1598. He serves as Financial Secretary of #412 and Treasurer of #1598. He was a
member of the Krakowiak Dancers of Chicago and has participated in all four
areas of PRCUA national sports tournaments. He has been National Flag Bearer
for the past 21 years and has been Sergeant-at-Arms at the last five PRCUA
Conventions. He lives with his wife, Elaine, and their son, Tommy, in
Chicago. James is the son of long time employee of the PRCUA, Alice
Robaczewski.
Harold
H. Roupinian is the 4th place producer, having sold 22 annuities. He is
a graduate of Michigan State U. with a BS in Bus. and Political Science. He
received his MA in International Relations and Economics from John Hopkins
U. Harold has worked as an insurance agent, division manager and brokerage
manager for over 33 years. He is a Certified Life Underwriter and secured a
Special 7 Security license with the NASD. After retiring in 1990, Harold
opened RDH Enterprises, a financial service agency, with partner Mark
Dardzinski. Harold is Senior V.P. of Investments with Bentley-Lawrence
Securities, Inc.
Diane
Saczynski is in 5th place with 21 annuities. Diane Saczynski is a PRCUA
Home Office Employee who works in the Membership Department and is a
licensed insurance producer. She is a member of PRCUA Society #943, where
she also serves as Financial Secretary. Born in Poland, she is a naturalized
U.S. citizen who is bi-lingual and fluent in Polish and English. Diane and
her husband Stanley reside in Chicago, IL.
PRCUA
Resident Vice President Anna Sokolowski, FICF, is in 6th place with
19 annuities. A member of Society #1605, Anna resides in Downers Grove, IL
with - as she says, “my best friend and the love of my life who I have been
happily married to for 34 years.” They have two daughters, both of whom were
married in August 2004: Basia and Sean Ackerman and Alicia and Chris Marron.
Mrs. Sokolowski has a BA from the University of Illinois and she is very
active in PRCUA and Polonia affairs. She loves to travel, read and cook, but
most of all Anna loves to socialize and meet people.
Michael
Ozog, FICF, is in 7th place, having brought in 18 new annuity
memberships. He lives in Livonia, MI, with his wife, Tina, son Ryan and
daughter, Grace. Michael has been a top producer for life insurance and a
member of the Presidential Suite of Million Dollar Producers. Now he is
repeating his outstanding performance in the area of annuities.
Lawrence
Tomczak is in 8th place with 17 annuities. Larry resides in Toledo, OH,
with his wife, Dyan. They are the proud parents of two children: Aletha and
Damian. He has had a distinguished career in the financial service field
since 1981. A graduate of the U. of Toledo, he earned the prestigious
professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), ChFC and
Certified Long Term Care (CLTC). He focuses on financial planning,
retirement planning and estate strategies. Larry is a member of the
Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Insurance and
Financial Advisors, the National Speakers Association, Toastmasters
International, the Toledo Area Planned Giving Council and the National
Committee on Planned Giving. He said “Trust and integrity are the
cornerstones of my working relationships with my clients.” He is a member of
the Toledo Chamber of Commerce, the Maumee Chamber of Commerce, the Ohio
Brain Injury Association and the Glassmen, a local drum and bugle corp.
Mark
J. Dardzinski is in 8th position with 16 annuities. He has over 20 years
of experience with insurance and investments. A former life insurance
manager, Mark started his own successful agency 8 years ago with partner
Harold Roupinian. He holds degrees in Bus. Admin. and Information
Technology, and is licensed in Life, Health, and Variable Contracts. He is
Sr. V.P. of Investments with Bentley-Lawrence Securities, Inc. Mark was born
and raised in Hamtramck, MI and now resides with his family in Warren, MI.
He is a current member and past Grand Knight of Cardinal Mercier Knights of
Columbus. Mark spent 15 years as an usher at Our Lady Queen of Apostles in
Hamtramck.
Kirk Harrington, Lucille
Kremlacek and William Seranko are tied for 9th position, each having sold 13
annuity memberships.
Kirk
Harrington and his wife, Lisa, live in Ashton, NE and have three
children, Jeffrey 14, Megan 11, and Sydney 7. Kirk has worked in the
financial services business for six years after teaching school for fourteen
years. Ashton is the home of the Polish Heritage Center and also Maschka’s
Sausage Shop, which is owned by Kirk's father-in-law and known far and wide
for its homemade kielbasa. Kirk is a member of the Loup City Chamber of
Commerce, a board member for the Sherman County Foundation, coaches junior
high basketball, helps Lisa teach junior high religion, and a member of NAIFA.
Lucille
Kremlacek resides in Loup City, NE with her husband, Edward. They have
one daughter, Christine Kavan, and 7 grandchildren. She became licensed to
sell annuities, life insurance and long term care 6 years ago and also works
as head cook at a ballroom and as a waitress. Lucille belongs to the Legion
Auxiliary and the Rosary Society at St. Cyril & Methodius Church in Plasi,
NE.
William
Seranko and his wife, Lucia, reside in Arlington Hts., IL. They have two
grown children, Anita and Peter, and one grandchild, Maggie Anne. Bill is a
fraternal agent and a licensed Accident, Life and Health producer. He serves
the PRCUA as Supervisor of District 1 and Financial Secretary of Queen of
the Polish Crown Society #657. Bill has been a member of the National Ski
Patrol System, a volunteer First Aid System for snow skiers for over 30
years. He said, “The key to good quality production with a high retention
ratio is to lay out all of the facts for the potential insured or annuitant,
answer their questions and clarify misunderstandings for the client, take
good notes and have a good follow-up system.”
Kasimer
J. Zabek, FICF, PRCUA National Director of District #1 and President of
St. Michael Society #359, is in the 9th position, having brought in 12
annuities. Kaz resides in Adams, MA with his wife, Frieda, who has also
served as a PRCUA National Director for many years. He is very active in the
Polish American community in New England and in PRCUA activities, including
sports tournaments. The Zabeks are members of St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish
in Adams, MA. They have 6 grown children: David, Thomas, Barbara, Susan
McShane, Nancy Herlihy, and Mary Ellen Daigneault and they are proud
grandparents 10 times. Kaz was Supervisor of District 56 for many years. He
is a life member in the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars,
Polish Legion of American Veterans, Polish American Congress, and the New
England Fraternal Congress.
Teresa Gibala and PRCUA Vice President Robert Bielenda are tied for 10th
position, each having sold 11 annuities.
Teresa
Gibala, FIC, resides in Erie, MI with her husband, Walter "Zie" Gibala.
They have 2 children, Rosemary Josey and Sophia Maitland, both nurses.
Teresa has worked for Monroe Public Schools for 28 years as a Computer Tech
at Monroe H.S.. She is a member of St. Joseph Parish in Erie MI, where she
belongs to St. Pauline Society #1633. She is a member of Echoes of Poland
Folk Song and Dance Ensemble of Toledo Ohio. She and her husband have danced
with the Echoes of Poland for the past 15 years and are planning to go to
Poland for the Polish Folk Festival in Rzewszow in July. They have danced at
the Polish Festival 4 times. Her hobbies are traveling, reading and dancing
with my Zie. She currently finished the second book toward her FICF license
and hope to receive that designation by the end of the year.
PRCUA
Vice President Robert Bielenda, FICF of Redford, MI has been a member
of the PRCUA for 53 years. He is very active in St. Stan's #718 PRCUA. He is
a retired Medical Technologist and laboratory owner. Eleanor and Bob
Bielenda have been married 42 years. They are the parents of six children
and grandparents of nine. They are members of St. Valentine Parish in
Redford. Bob is a life member of Sgt. Romanowski VFW Post, Knights of
Columbus Assembly #1622, Ambassador of Orchard Lake Schools and a member of
the Friends of Cardinal of Detroit, and a Life Member of The Polish Museum
of America. He has been active in PRCUA activities, having participated and
supported Basketball, Bowling, Golf, Softball and Horseshoe Tournaments
through the years. He is presently a licensed insurance deputy for the PRCUA
and is a Fraternal Insurance Counselor Fellow serving on board of the
Michigan FIC.
Darin
Sterup is in 11th position with 10 annuities. Raised on a farm near
Osceola, NE, Darin Sterup entered the insurance industry in 1995. He earned
his B.A. at Creighton University and taught high school before moving back
to Osceola and joining a family farming operation. Darin and his wife
Michelle have 3 children, Shelby, 14; Cierra, 7 and Garrett, 5. He is active
in community organizations including; past Grand Knight Council 5383 of the
K. of C., board member of Osceola Development Corp., board member of Osceola
Public Schools, Advisory Board member of Osceola Good Samaritan Ctr. and Jr.
High Girl’s basketball coach. He is a member of the Omaha Health
Underwriters Assoc., Platte Valley Life Underwriters Assoc., and a Certified
Senior Advisor. Darin is also the owner of Osceola Financial Services.
